Jacob is a young entrepreneur who wants to make blacksmithing his livelihood. We commissioned him to make a substantial portable sunshade base for us. We already had a base which was static. We discussed the project, Jacob made some drawings and we agreed on the design. He gave us a quotation that we accepted. We purchased and gave him the wheels (with brakes) and funded him for materials up front. About four weeks later, with his dad, he delivered the finished article to our home. It was perfect - sturdy, dimensionally spot-on, and nicely painted.
We were absolutely delighted with Jacob's work and would have no hesitation recommending him to others for "blacksmithing and metal working".

Wow, I couldn't recommend Jacob enough! He was professional, attentive, friendly, and has impeccable attention to detail. He really went over and above to make this hand rail with matching grab rails perfect- even coming after it was fitted to touch up any scuffs caused by the fitting process. A beautifully sturdy piece which we have had so many lovely comments about. VERY glad we went with Jacob and invested in this gorgeous piece that I'm sure will stand the test of time.

Really, really happy with service, quality and cost! We needed a replacement fireback for our Victorian fire. Jacob visited, took the old one away and when it couldn't be straighted, sourced material made a new one and came to fit it - it was perfect first time!
